What is your family background? |
My parents got divorced in 1996 and I stayed with my mother. I regularly visited my dad who supported me, but I always had to be friends with his girlfriends or wives. Today he is in his third marriage and my second half brother was born recently. I don't have a close personal relationship with my dad. I live with my mom who is a great spiritual support to me and we have a great relationship. I could not wish for a better mom. We live in my grandmother's house. My aunt and her family stayed with us for some time but now they are gone.

How did you come
to know Christ? |
After my parents got divorced, my mom and I began to look for true happiness. After being hurt, we desired to be loved. We got involved with occultism (reiki, feng-shui), hoping that those would bring us the change and joy we desired but all of it was superficial.
Today I know that the Holy Spirit was the one giving us thirst, we just went to the wrong well. I was influenced by whatever my mom was doing. She did not force me. It was all my decision. I was always free to go, but I didn't ever take advantage of it.
Later my mom started going to a Catholic fellowship. According to her, that was the first place where she experienced God's love for the very first time. Later on, we left that church because we could not accept the worship of Mary. We started going to a church that had living faith. My mom got saved first and I soon followed. I was 14 years old at the time. I've walked with the Lord ever since.

What is your future
vision upon finishing the Bible College? |
I am convinced that during the two years that I will spend here at the Bible College, God will transform me. I know He called me to be here, and that every day I want to serve Him with all of my heart. I would like to give everything to Him the same way He given everything to me.
I like art and everything that requires creativity such as painting, photographs, and organizing. I would like to use everything I learned because I know I received everything from Him. I know the Lord would like them to be used for His glory and that I may reflect Him. I don't know exactly what is in the future, but I know all I am is His, and I never want to lead my life. Wherever He opens a door I will go, and I will trust Him because He is mighty.
Everything that God does in my life is about me being open. It's about me being open to whatever He wants to do once I leave this school. That I would not be afraid, because that is the one thing that can separate me from seeing the wonders He has already prepared for me.

How has Bible
College impacted you thus far in your walk
with the Lord and in equipping you for the
future? |
Day by day He is showing me that He will never leave me, and He wants me to trust Him to heal my wounds. He will lift up my head and eyes to see His heavenly purpose. He is teaching me about true servant hood and that His grace is enough for me. Galatians 2:20.
